Our first Aussie entered our family in 1980 after witnessing one dog's amazing talent when herding our loose horses off
of a busy highway and back into their resident pasture. Originally bought as horseback riding companions Rocket and Levi quickly
wormed their way into the family hearts forever. Since that time we have seldom strayed from this intelligent, loyal breed.
The breed has intertwined itself within our core family group to encompass 8-10 family members owning in excess of 20 Aussies.
This does not include the many puppy buyers that have become longtime family friends. Agility was discovered by Katrina in
the year 2000. It was not long before many other members joined into the fun. Today we have 7 members of the family actively
training and competing with about 14 dogs. The sport is highly addicting and a lot of fun for both handlers and dogs alike.

One of the the members of the family, Susan Nelson also breeds, shows, and exhibits her Aussies under the Kennel name of
Bright Eyes Australian Shepherds. Check out her website for more pictures of the beautiful family of dogs we have produced.
Many of our individual breeding decisions are discussed jointly between Susan, Sherry, and Katrina. We scrutinize pedigrees,
temperaments, brains, working ability and conformation closely to try and ensure the most healthy advantageous cross possible.
Our dogs are raised and live in the house as a part of the family. We believe strongly in natural rearing to give our beloved
companions the best chance of living a long, healthy, and productive life. Minimal to no vaccinations are given and all of
our crew is fed a quality diet.
